green or tan, oval body
Size:
2 inches – 6 inches long
Food:
moths, flies, butterflies, and many other insects
Where they live:
warm nests
Predators:
bats, birds and wasps
Other Facts:
sometimes called “Praying Mantid”, got its name because of the way it looks while holding its food (praying), strong legs to catch their pray, useful in gardens, have a long neck which helps the head go in a circle
